One thing you wish you’d known before getting into the business: I’ve grown up in the business, and CICF is older than me. I don’t think there was any “getting into it” for me.
Best part of the business: That I know my work makes my Dad proud. He started the business and now I’m running it with him.
Advice to frozen dessert retailers: Many don’t realize that the frozen dessert industry is one of the most difficult. Many places are only open part of the year, because it is hard to sell their products throughout the year. It is also extremely competitive with frozen dessert places from every niche poppping up.
