US Pastry Competition 2016

Winners of the 2016 US Pastry Competition.

 

Congratulations to the winners and organizers of the 27th annual U.S. Pastry Competition! The U.S Pastry Competition is the world’s longest-running annual, professional pastry competition, and is presented by Paris Gourmet brands Cacao Noel, Pastry1, Beurremont, Gourmand and Maison de Choix. The competition was held on March 6, 2016, and is the marquee event at the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York (March 6-8, 2016). The theme of this year’s competition was “Magic and Illusion”. This year’s winners are: 1st Place and Pastry Chef of the Year - Justin Fry (Norman Love Confections, Fort Myers, FL); Second Place - Nicolas Chevrieux (Maison Kayser USA); Third Place - Joseph Settepani (Pasticceria Bruno, Staten Island, NY); Honorable Mention - Kristen Battaglia (Sirio Ristorante, New York City, NY).
